Our 50-minute appointments provide dedicated time to focus on what is most important to you.
Whether you are navigating a current challenge, reflecting on past experiences, managing difficult emotions, or looking to better understand yourself, sessions offer an opportunity for thoughtful conversation in a confidential and supportive environment.
We understand that everyone's experiences are different. Appointments are guided by your concerns, priorities, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

EMDR is an evidence-based psychological approach that may be used when working with trauma-related concerns and other experiences that continue to have an impact on daily life.
Before commencing EMDR, a comprehensive assessment is completed to gain a clear understanding of your history, current circumstances, and whether this approach is suitable for you.
EMDR appointments are typically between 60 and 90 minutes. Time is spent building understanding, developing coping strategies, and ensuring you feel prepared before moving into memory processing work. Session length and frequency are discussed collaboratively with your psychologist.
Please contact us for fees.

We provide psychology services for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants aged 15 years and above.
We recognise that every participant's circumstances, strengths, and support needs are different. Sessions may focus on emotional wellbeing, navigating everyday challenges, developing practical skills, managing stress, improving relationships, or working towards goals that are important to you.
Where appropriate, we may collaborate with members of your broader support team to support a coordinated approach to care.
Appointments are delivered via telehealth and follow the same structure as our standard psychology sessions.
-
We provide psychology services for individuals accessing support through Victims of Crime assistance schemes.
These appointments provide an opportunity to talk through the impact of your experiences in a respectful, confidential, and trauma-informed environment. Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and are guided by your individual circumstances and priorities.
Please note: We do not provide court reports, medico-legal reports, or expert witness services.
Before booking your appointment, we encourage you to review our Booking & Cancellation Policy. It explains appointment bookings, fees, cancellations, refunds and other important information to help you prepare for your session.

Low cost/Rebates
At Calm Sanctuary, we're committed to making psychological support as accessible as possible. We offer low-cost and bulk-billed appointments for eligible individuals, helping reduce financial barriers so more people can access the support they need.
Additionally, the Australian government offers rebates through the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), providing rebates for up to 10 sessions per year with a registered psychologist when referred by a GP. This rebate is currently $98.95 for a 50 min session. Telehealth services are also covered, improving access for those in remote areas.
Many private health insurance plans include coverage for psychology services, offering further financial relief. Please check with your insurer first.
Bulk-Billing
We understand that accessing psychological support can be a significant financial commitment. Bulk billed appointments are available for eligible clients to help make therapy more accessible.
If you'd like to apply, simply complete our Bulk Billing Application.
We'll review your application and be in touch to discuss your eligibility and the next steps.
Supervision for Provisional Psychologists
Board-approved supervision is available for provisional psychologists completing the 4+2 or 5+1 pathway.
Supervision provides a reflective space to discuss clinical work, strengthen professional skills, and navigate the responsibilities that come with psychological practice.
Areas of focus may include assessment, formulation, intervention planning, ethical decision-making, reflective practice, and professional identity development.
Our approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-informed practice, supporting provisional psychologists throughout their training journey.
Supervision is not only about developing clinical skills, it's also about finding your own voice and confidence as a psychologist. If you're looking for a supervisor who values both professional growth and personal authenticity, I'd love to work with you.
Taking The First Step
Seeking support can feel unfamiliar or daunting.
Whether this is your first experience with psychology or you have attended sessions previously, our aim is to provide a respectful, compassionate, and supportive environment.
