A sanctuary for those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unseen.
At Calm Sanctuary, we support individuals ready to explore what sits beneath long-held patterns.
Whether you're seeking clarity for the first time or returning to therapy after previous experiences, you're welcome here.
You may feel:
Weighed down by persistent anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Disconnected from yourself or others
Trapped in unhelpful cycles you can't seem to shift
Burnt out from people-pleasing, perfectionism, or masking
Unsure how to express your needs or hold boundaries
A quiet longing for deeper healing and self-understanding
You don’t need to have the words yet. You just need somewhere safe to begin.
What we can support you with…
Healing from complex or developmental trauma
Managing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or shutdown
Reconnecting with your sense of identity and worth
Navigating life transitions, grief, or chronic stress
Understanding and supporting your neurodivergence (Calm Sanctuary is a neuroaffirming practice)
Building healthier relationships and communication patterns
Soothing inner criticism, shame, or persistent self-doubt
Exploring EMDR, parts work, or integrative models in a safe, grounded way
Supporting holistic wellbeing through gentle, sustainable therapeutic tools
What to expect…
A safe, inclusive space where all parts of you are welcome
Sessions shaped around your pace—not a fixed model
Therapy that’s collaborative, flexible, and gently directive when needed
Tools that support real-world change alongside deeper inner work
A therapist who sees you as a whole person, not a problem to be solved
If you're ready for something to shift, even if you're not sure what that looks like yet, therapy can be a meaningful place to start.
Reach out when it feels right.

Meet Beth Phelan
Beth supports people who feel stuck in familiar patterns, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, or needing support through life transitions.
Some of the people she works with are starting therapy for the first time. Others have been to therapy before but are now looking for something that feels more grounded and goes beneath the surface.
She has a particular interest in trauma recovery, emotional wellbeing, and holistic approaches to healing. Helps people make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface and offers a calm, collaborative space to shift long-standing patterns, build self-trust, and feel more connected to themselves and others. Her approach is steady, curious, and supportive, balancing practical strategies with meaningful emotional work.
She draws on schema therapy, EMDR, parts work, and mindfulness, always through a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming lens.
Therapy with Beth is relaxed and down-to-earth, tailored to each person’s pace and needs. Her style suits those who are ready to be actively involved in their healing, open to exploring their inner world and looking for support that goes deeper than quick fixes.
You're welcome to get in touch when the time feels right.
